About First Grade
Welcome to First Grade! My name is Debbie Jio and I teach the First grade at St. Joseph. My aide is Lynn Fuelscher, our retired Kindergarten teacher. We both love teaching First Grade! Lynn Fuelscher and I started the Kindergarten here at St. Joseph in 1980. We team taught for six years before I moved on to First Grade. I have been here ever since! Mrs. Fuelscher retired from Kindergarten and decided to work in First Grade. Now we are back together again and I’m thrilled! We love teaching 1st grade! We have a wonderful school and great students. We are looking forward to a wonderful new year with our new students.
Mission For The Class
We hope to instill a love for learning, especially reading. During this year we will grow tremendously. We will become independent learners and great listeners!
