Dear Parents,

What a success Catholic Schools Week was!  During Open House your children practiced drawing conclusions about what they read, reviewed vocabulary using a game on our digital white board, read the first half of our story, Scene Two, typed their sloppy copies of their results paragraphs on the laptops, and practiced more long division. They were enthusiastic, on task, having fun and learning a lot.  I was very proud of them.  I was also impressed by how much your children love you!  On Parent Appreciation Day, their letters clearly expressed what wonderful, loving, supportive pare you are!  Thank you for all you do to help your children, their classmates and me.

In Math last week your children learned a lot about factoring, divisibility rules and prime and composite numbers. This week they will learn how to use factor trees.  Our test on chapter 14 will be on Wednesday.  Please use the practice test and pages 314 to 316 to help your child study.  Your child’s chapter 13 Math test is in this packet.  Please review it with him or her.

In Science last week, your children worked hard to begin writing up their Science Fair results. During these last few weeks in Music class, your children have been having a ton of fun learning the songs for our class musical, “Geology Rocks,” which they will perform on Friday, April 20 at 2:00 in the Parish Hall.  This Tuesday and Thursday, Mrs. Belloni and I will conduct auditions.  They all received audition scripts two weeks ago.  Please use these to help your child practice.  In Social Studies they explored the jurisdictions of the three levels of government.

Lastly, I would like to thank those of you who completed the homework survey.  With so many items to return last week (report cards, conference goal sheets, permission slips, the envelope for Mrs. Calvetti…) many of you, understandably, neglected to complete the homework survey. Out of the twenty-two surveys that were returned by Friday, twenty of you marked “just right” while one parents marked “too much” and one, “two little.” After reviewing the comments and Xs, it seems to me that the amount of homework should remain about the same.  If you still have last week’s Monday letter, please take some time to fill out the survey and return it to school with your child.  This will help me get a more complete picture of the fourth grade homework load.  Thanks so much.

We will be celebrating Valentine’s Day next Tuesday, February 14.  Today your children received a list of all the children in our class in their homework folders.  Please remember, if your child would like to give out Valentines, he or she must give one to every child in the class.

If you have not already turned in your child’s report card and green “At Home Conference” sheet, please do so tomorrow.  Thank you again for all of your support.  If you have any questions or concerns, please drop by, or e-mail me at triciaheis@sjcschool.org.

Dear Parents,

Happy Catholic Schools’ Week!  Your children have been working really hard to make our classroom “SPARCCL.”  Drop by this week to check out all their hard work.  Your children’s SJC paragraphs show how much they love their school and how lucky they feel to be here. Their paragraphs made me feel very happy and lucky to work with such a wonderful group of kids and families.

This month in Religion, your children have been working hard to translate and illustrate the Ten Commandments into actions that they can follow as fourth graders.  Their work will be displayed in front of our classroom tomorrow. Your children show a deep understanding of what these Commandments mean to them.  Your child’s Ten Commandments test is in this packet.  Please review it with him or her.

Today in Math your children learned how to calculate averages. The chapter 13 Math test will be tomorrow.  You can use the practice test and pages 294 to 296 to help your child study for this test.  In the latter part of the week, we will learn about factors and how to identify prime and composite numbers.  This chapter on Number Theory can be difficult for kids, and your child may need some extra support at home.  Your child’s chapter 12 Math test is in this packet.  Please review it with your child.

This week in Reading we will read a story called Scene Two.  Your children will practice drawing conclusions by using what they have read and their own experiences.  They will also learn how understanding a word’s origin might help them understand the meaning of an unfamiliar word.

In Science last week, your children learned about bar graphs and line graphs and constructed their own graphs and charts to display their results.  This week your children will begin writing up their results.  Over the next few weeks we will revise and proofread our results, write our conclusions and prepare all our display copies for our Science Fair display boards.

In Social Studies last week we learned about California’s Constitution.  The upcoming lessons in Social Studies will assure that your children will be prepared for our visit to our State Capitol in March.

Earlier this month in Social Studies your children learned about the Mexican Independence from Spain and how this affected California.  On Friday, February 24 we will be going to Peralta Adobe in downtown San Jose to partake in a special program called Adobe Days.  During this fieldtrip, your children will rotate though stations to participate in activities that San Jose inhabitants from over 100 years ago undertook in order to survive in California.  Your child has his or her permission slip in their homework folder.  We will need drivers and parent chaperones to lead five activity stations where children will do activities such as making adobe bricks, cornhusk dolls and tortillas.  We will leave school at 9:30 and will return at 1:15.  Your children will have free dress and should wear comfortable, warm play clothes.  They should also bring a bag lunch.

Now that we are halfway through the school year, I would again like your feedback regarding the amount of homework.  Your child should be spending about an hour of concentrated study each night on homework.  I greatly appreciate any comments that you wish to write.  Fill it out and return the bottom part of this letter to school with your child by Friday.  Thank you for your feedback.

If you haven’t already found time to sit with your child to discuss his or her report card and fill out the green At Home Conference sheet, please do so this week and return the report card and green sheet by Friday.  I would like to thank you again for all your support.  If you have any questions or concerns please drop by, or e-mail me at triciaheis@sjcschool.org.

Sincerely,   Tricia Heissenbuttel

Please place and X on the line across the continuum indicating how you feel regarding the amount of homework that your child receives in fourth grade.

TOO LITTLE                        JUST RIGHT                           TOO MUCH

Dear Parents,

Last week in Religion your children learned about the 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th Commandments and explored how they can live out these Commandments in their lives. This month in Religion, your children have been working hard to translate and illustrate The Ten Commandments into actions that they can follow as fourth graders.  Their work will be displayed in front of our classroom for Open House. Your children show a deep understanding of what these Commandments mean to them.  This week your children will be working in class to memorize the Ten Commandments and will be tested on them on Thursday.  Your child will be expected to write all the Commandments in order but will not be expected to spell all the words correctly.  Use the study card and booklet in the homework folders to help your child study.

Your children will have their report cards in their backpacks on Friday. They will look at their report cards in class, and will reflect on their progress and on the goal that they set with you at the beginning of the second quarter.  Please take some time over weekend to sit with your child so that he or she can talk about his or her progress and choose a new goal.  Try to focus on their strengths and on only one thing to improveIf your child has not returned her or his yellow goal card, please send it to school with him or her tomorrow as they will need it in order to conduct this “mini conference.”  Please return the report cards and 3rd quarter goals to school by next Friday, February 3.

In Math, we are finishing Chapter 12 in which your children are learning how to divide larger numbers, and tomorrow will be our Math test on this chapter. Tonight I’m sending home math books and a practice test so that you can help your child study. You can use pages 274 to 276 and the practice test to help your child study for the test.

This week in reading we will read a story called Coyote School News.  Your children will practice drawing conclusions by using what they have read and their own experiences.  They will also learn how understanding a word’s origin might help them understand the meaning of an unfamiliar word.

This week in Science your children will learn about bar and line graphs and begin constructing their own graphs to display their results.  Over the next month we will be working hard to write up our results and conclusions and to make display copies of our charts and graphs for our Science Fair ProjectsAll of the words that will go on your child’s display board will be sent home in a folder at the end of February.  That will give you about a week to help your children put these pieces on their display boards, create a title, and add decorations.  More details will be sent home in the folders with all of the Science Project pieces.

Thank you very much to all of your who attended our fourth grade BINGO night on January 14.   We are very grateful that you came out to support our class!  If you have any questions or concerns, please drop by or e-mail me at triciaheis@sjcschool.org.

Sincerely,  Tricia Heissenbuttel

Dear Parents,

In Religion last week your children learned how the 4th, 5th and 6th Commandments lead us to respect and care for each other and for all life.  This week we will learn how the 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th Commandments help us to be loving and forgiving.

Last week your children wrote paragraphs describing what makes SJC so special to them.  This week we will polish and publish these paragraphs.  They will be displayed in church vestibule, school office and in front of our classroom during Catholic Schools Week.  Also on display will be parent testimonials. These are really powerful in persuading prospective families to choose our school.  Please consider writing a few sentences explaining what you find special about SJC if you can find a bit of time.

Behind this letter is a flyer explaining the Catholic Television Network’s essay contest for Catholic Schools Week.  I have reviewed the flyer with your children and explained to them that this is an optional writing project that can be done at home.  Please encourage your child to participate; SJC students have won thess prizes often over the years.  Please email or send an electronic copy of your child’s entry by Wednesday, January 25.

Today we began Chapter 12 in Math in which your children will learn how to divide larger numbers.  The Chapter 12 test will be early next week. The Chapter 11 test is in this packet.  Please review it with your child.

Science Fair results are due this Friday, January 20.  You still have a few days to help your children collect and record in their logs all the measurements, observations and inferences that they made during the last few months while testing their question. Your children must turn in their logs complete with all the data they collected on Friday.

In Science we learned how slowly over time the Earth’s surface is shaped and reshaped by water, wind and ice through the processes of erosion, deposition and weathering.  Friday we will have our Chapter 4 test about these slow changes to the Earth.  You can use your child’s textbook and study packet to help your child study.  On Thursday, while we review for the test, your children will highlight important ideas and concepts that will appear on the test so pay special attention to these highlighted parts when you are helping your child study on Thursday night.

In Social Studies last week we learned about how Mexican Rule affected California and the development of the rancho economy.  This week we will begin to learn about California’s government in order to be prepared for our trip to Sacramento on March 28.

Remember that Scholastic Book orders are due tomorrow. You can use the form and send a check made out to Scholastic Books to school, or you can set up an account using the following information. If you have already set up an account, log on using your user name and password.  If you use the form, please do not pay with cash.

Please send your children’s 2nd quarter, yellow goal card to school this week so that they can reflect on them to prepare for a mini-conference that your child will conduct at home with you. I am thoroughly enjoying being your children’s teacher;  they are a very sweet, special bunch!  Thank you for all your support. If you have any questions or concerns please drop by, or e-mail me at triciaheis@sjcschool.org.

Dear Parents,

In Religion last week, we learned about this joyous time in our Church’s calendar, the Christmas Season.  Your children learned about the Presentation of Jesus in the Temple and reflected on how God keeps his promises.  They learned that during the Christmas season, we celebrate the birth of Jesus, the Light of the World and that this season ends with the Epiphany, this past Sunday when we celebrated the arrival of the three kings.  This week we will continue to learn about the Ten Commandments.

In Language Arts this week we will learn and review a lot of techniques to spruce up our descriptive writing.  We will work hard to incorporate what we have learned about descriptive writing into our paragraphs in which your children will express their love of SJC.  Next week we will polish and publish these paragraphs. By the way, I would like to encourage you to write a “Parent Testimonial” for our Catholic Schools Week flyer and displays, nothing elaborate, just a few words about why you believe in our school.  You are definitely our best ambassadors, and so we invite you to share the “Good News” about our school.

In Math, we are continuing Chapter 11, and your children will continue to learn how to multiply larger numbers.  Our test will be on Friday for this chapter.  Please use the practice test and pages 248 to 250 to help your child study.  Your child’s chapter 10 Math test is in this packet.  Please review it with him or her.

Science Project results are due one week from Friday (Friday, January 20). Remember, not only do your children need to write their measurements in their logs, they must also write observations and inferences each time they work on their project.  Your children will be graded on the quality and completeness of the results that they record in their logs. Mrs. Wicht is now selling display boards through the Tuesday Envelope.  If you would like to purchase a board for $3.75, send the money to school with your child.  The color choices are red, yellow, blue, green, white or black.  Your children learned about weathering last week.  This week they will learn how weathering works together with erosion and deposition to slowly change the Earth’s surface.

In Social Studies last week we learned how the victory of the Mexicans over the Spanish in the Mexican War for Independence affected life in California.  This week, we will be learning about the days of the big rancheros in California when our state was a part of Mexico.

Friday, January 20 is the end of the second quarter, and soon your children will get to use all of the deposits that they have earned through their good behavior to go shopping in our student store.  If you have any items lying around the house that you will not use but you think a 4th grader would love, I would appreciate the donations to our store.  Please send them to school with your child.  Thanks so much.

Today your children have Scholastic Book orders in their homework folders.  All orders will be due by next Wednesday.  Remember, you can use the form and send a check made out to Scholastic Books to school, or you can set up an account using the following information. If you have already set up an account, log on using your user name and password.  If you use the form, please do not pay with cash.

Dear Parents,

I hope that you all had a wonderful and restful Christmas break.  It was wonderful to see your children’s enthusiastic, smiling faces this morning.  As Christmastime suddenly ends in our secular world on December 26, it is just beginning in our Church. This week in Religion we will explore this joyous season in our Church’s liturgical year.

How are all of your children’s Science Projects going?  Remember, the results are due Friday, January 20.  Your children will be working on all of the words, graphs and charts that will be placed on their display boards in class.  All that you will do at home is help them put their boards together.  Soon, Mrs. Wicht will sell display boards through the Tuesday Envelope.  Below are the remaining due dates.   In class we will continue our study of geology learning about slow changes to the Earth such as weathering, deposition and erosion.

Assignment Due Date
TESTING AT HOME (at home) December 2 to January 20
Conclusion (in school) Wednesday, February 15
DISPLAY BOARD (at home) Friday, February 24 to

Wednesday, February 29

Science Fair in the Parish Hall March 6 to 8

In Math, we are continuing Chapter 10. This week your children will continue to learn how to multiply larger numbers.  On Thursday we will have our test for this chapter.  Please use the practice test and pages 228 to 230 to help your child study.

This week in reading we will read a story called What Jo Did.  Your children will practice identifying causes and effects in what they read.  They will also learn how understanding prefixes and suffixes might help them understand the meaning of an unfamiliar word.

In Social Studies, we will begin to learn about the Mexican Independence from Spain and how this affected California.  Behind this letter are the marks that your child received on all of the work that we did during our mission unit.  Your children not only learned a great deal about the missions and life during that time, but they also learned skills that they will continue to use as they progress through the grades: how to read for content, how to outline information, how to find research in books and on the Internet, how to write a research paper with an introduction and conclusion, and how to work well in a cooperative group.   The Ship’s Log, Accounting Forms, and Cooperation Points are all group activities and only one member of each crew was able to take them home.  Your children worked hard during this unit and far surpassed what I expected.  I am very proud of them.

The end of the quarter is quickly approaching.  Are you helping your child record his or her progress toward reaching their goal?  I will be asking your children to return their yellow goal card the week of January 16.  If you have any questions or concerns, call me, drop by school, or e-mail me at triciaheis@sjcschool.org.

Sincerely,  Tricia Heissenbuttel

Dear Parents,

How blessed we were on Friday’s trip to San Juan Bautista, and what a wonderful time we had!  We enjoyed crystal clear, crisp skies while visiting all the sights of this mission. Your kids were very engaged and learned a lot. Many, many thanks to our drivers and chaperones: Mrs. Zuo, Mrs. Wilson, Mrs. Smith, Mrs. Shabbeer, Mrs. Serafini. Mrs. Page, Mr. Miller, Mr. Lin, Mrs. Boyd, and Mrs. Alamban. Because we had so many volunteers, your children were VERY well looked after and learned a lot. Many thanks also to Mr. Bazurto, Mr. Calvetti, Mrs. Ereno, Mrs. Fujii, Mr. Koering, Mrs. O’Boyle and Mrs. West who volunteered their time but weren’t needed. I want to extend a heartfelt thanks to all of you for showing so much support to our class and me.

In our mission unit, we arrived in Monterey last Thursday and each crew paid their duty. This week, we will begin to trade.  In order to sail up and down the coast of California to trade with the missions, your children will have to answer questions.  These are the same questions that will be on our test on Thursday, so I expect your children to be very well prepared for this test.  To help your children study, use the background sheets and outlines in their mission booklets.  These will be in their homework folders all week.

This week in Math we will continue Chapter 10, Multiplying by One Digit Numbers.  We will finish this chapter after Christmas break.  Your child’s Chapter 8 test is in this packet.  Please review it with your child.

Your children are now ready to begin testing their Science projects at home.  Remember that they have until January 20 to complete their experiment and return their logs full of results, observations and inferences. Each time your children work on their projects, they should write the date, what they did, and a few observations and inferences.  If your child is testing plants, she or he must begin soon.  If you are not traveling over vacation, this could be a great time to help your child gather the science project results.

And of course, Thursday night is a very exciting night for our fourth graders because they will be performing for the first time in our Christmas musical, “Christmas Hang-Ups.” Please make sure that your child is in the classroom by 6:30. If your child has a special costume, you have already been notified by Mrs. Belloni.  Everyone else should wear dressy holiday clothes.  The performance will begin at 7:00.

This is my last letter of the year 2011 so have a wonderful Christmas holiday.  I feel very lucky to be working with such supportive families that truly want the best for their kids.  See you in 2012.

Love,

Tricia Heissenbuttel

Dear Parents,

Last week in Religion we prepared for Advent by thinking about how God came to earth and became human just like us. We learned how Jesus is the Light of the World and how we can share His Light with others when we are kind, caring, generous and loving (when we choose to live as He did).  We talked about how Jesus is no longer living as a human among us so he asks us to use our hands to do his work on Earth.   This year for our Advent reach out project we will be collecting money for the newest church in our Diocese soon to be built in the Santee area of San Jose. This is a wonderful connection for our school because we have been supporting the needy families in Santee for many years.  When we reach out to the people of this parish, we are reaching out and growing closer to Jesus.

Last week each of you received a letter in your Tuesday Envelope from the moms that organize our Reach Out program for the middle grades.  Today your children made a bag lunch for the residents of the Julian Street Inn in downtown San Jose.  The people of this Inn provide homes and rehabilitation services for men & women diagnosed with mental illness.  For Mother’s Day your children will paint pots, plant flowers and make cards for poor mothers at the Living and Loving Learning Center in Morgan Hill.  Our reach out moms ask that you and your child make a donation of $13.00 to help pay for the materials to make the lunches and Mother’s Day gifts.  Please send it to school in the envelope that was included in last week’s Tuesday Envelope.  Thanks you very, very much for your generosity.

In Math, we are continuing Chapter 8 about how variables are used in expressions and equations. On Thursday your children will take their chapter 10 test. You can use pages 182 to 186 and the practice test to help your child prepare.  Next week we will begin learning how to multiply larger numbers. If your child has not fully mastered the multiplication math facts, practicing these facts with them will really help them to be successful with this new, difficult skill. Thank you.

Last week your children chose the two missions on which they will complete reports.  With each report they complete, they will move their crew’s boat through the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean, around Cape Horn and up to California.  When your children chose their missions, they put stickers of the two missions that they are responsible for in their research folder.  Remember, most of this work will be done in class; what is not finished in class will be for homework.  Please encourage your child to click on the “Mission Links” page on my web site this week at http://sjcschool.org/blogs/grade4/ to help them do their  research. Each day your children will have about an hour to work on their mission reports in class. Below are the due dates.

Mission Report Due Dates

Monday, December 5- rough draft of 1st report is due

Tuesday, December 6- final draft and drawing of 1st report are due

Wednesday, December 7- rough draft of 2nd report is due

Thursday, December 8-final draft and drawing of 2nd report are due

Because your children will have to finish these at home, there will be no reading log this week.  If your child works efficiently in class and has very little work to do on his or her mission report at home, please encourage him or her to continue to read for pleasure.

On Friday, we will be going to Mission San Juan Bautista.  Below is the schedule for the day.

8:45- leave school

9:45- arrive at the mission and meet in the plaza

10:00- self-guided tour in groups to complete a scavenger hunt

11:30- eat lunch on the plaza

12:00- play the “Mission Game” with a museum docent

1:00- self-guided tour in groups to complete a scavenger hunt

2:00- return to school

3:00- arrive at school

Your children must bring a bag lunch and wear their uniforms to school. This is a very authentic mission and we are looking forward to a great day.  Again, I would like to thank you if you volunteered to drive and chaperone.  More information about the day will be sent home to drivers and chaperones later this week.

Our Christmas Musical, “Christmas Hang-Ups,” is next Thursday night at 7:00 in the Parish Hall.  All of your children should report to the classroom by 6:30.  Children who have specific roles and are wearing special costumes should bring them to school by this Friday.  All of your children who are in the chorus should wear dressy holiday clothes to school the night of the performance.

This week in Science, your children will create a chart in which to record their data and will learn how to make observations and inferences.  Please do not let your child begin their experiment at home until we are all done in the classroom.  This weekend your children will be ready to begin testing their Science projects at home.   Remember that they have until January 20 to complete their experiment and return their logs full of results, observations and inferences. Each time your children work on their projects, they should write the date, what they did, and a few observations and inferences.  If your child is testing plants, she or he must begin soon.

Is your child’s 2nd quarter yellow goal sheet being displayed in your home where everyone can see it?  Your children should be writing the date on the lines every time that they do something to reach their goal.  We can help them to be successful if we discuss and remind them often about their goals.  Thanks for your support in this.

The fourth grade will be shopping at Santa’s Secret Shop on Wednesday, so please make sure that your child has a list of who to buy gifts for if they wish to participate. Please review the attached papers with your children.  If you have any questions or concerns, please drop by, call me at school, or e-mail me at triciaheis@aol.com.  Thanks again for all your support.

Sincerely,

Tricia Heissenbuttel

November 28, 2011

Dear Parents,

I hope you all enjoyed a wonderful and restful Thanksgiving holiday. And Happy New Year…on the Church’s calendar, that is! Sunday began the first day of Advent, the day that marks the beginning of the liturgical year.  You may have noticed that many of our responses in Mass have changed.  During the last two weeks we discussed these changes and practiced the new prayers in class.  We also explored the meaning of the first three Commandments that help us strengthen our relationship with God by worshiping only Him, by showing genuine reverence for His name and by honoring Him by attending Mass on Sunday.

This week your children will begin the process of writing their procedures for their Science Fair projects. Please DO NOT begin the testing until we have finished all of these steps in class.  I will let you know when to begin in a future Monday letter.

This week we begin our simulation on the California missions. Your children will not only learn about the missions, but will learn to use outlines to organize information, will practice reading for content, will make decisions in cooperative groups, will apply math skills to accounting problems, and will conduct research on two missions.

Your children have become part of a crew that will sail from Boston to California to trade goods with the California missions in 1700.  They will move through the Caribbean Sea, around Cape Horn, and up to California by completing two short mission reports.  Soon your children will have stickers of the mission that they are responsible for in their writing folder.  Most of this work will be done in class; what is not finished in class will be for homework.  We will be using books and the Internet to do our research.  If you would like to help your children research their missions, you can send books to school or help them find information on the Internet.  I have added a page to my web site called “Mission Links” that has links to age-appropriate research.  You can find these links on my web site at sjcschool.org/blogs/grade4. These short histories can be printed and sent to school for your children to use.

We will be going to San Juan Bautista on Friday, December 9th.  We will need drivers and chaperones for this long but worthwhile journey (about one hour each way). Your children must bring a bag lunch and wear their uniforms to school. This is a very authentic mission and we are looking forward to a great day. Your children have their permission slips in their homework folders.  Please return them by Friday.

Your children have their new goal cards in their homework folder.   Please post them in a prominent place and help your children keep track of their progress.  A quarter is a long time for a fourth grader to stay focused on a goal, so they will need your help to reach it.

I would like to thank Mrs. Serafini and Mrs. Miller for preparing and serving lunch to all of us at our Thanksgiving Feast. If you have any questions please drop by the classroom, email me at triciaheis@sjcschool.org or call me at school.  Thank you for your continued support.

Sincerely,  Tricia Heissenbuttel

Dear Parents,

Last week in Religion, we explored the meaning of the first three Commandments which help us strengthen our relationship with God by worshiping only Him, by showing genuine reverence for His name and by honoring Him by attending Mass on Sunday.  Over the next few weeks we will learn about the meaning and how we, as fourth graders, can live out all Ten of the Commandments.

Last week your children worked hard on their Science Fair Projects to choose their question, to write hypotheses and to begin identifying the variables that they will need to control for their experiment to be a fair test.  Today your children will finalize their variables and next week they will write their procedures.

Thank you for your feedback regarding homework. I would like to share information about the survey that I asked you to fill out last week. Out of the 23 responses that were returned by Friday, the majority of you responded that the amount of homework is “just right” (15 families). One family marked on the too little side of the continuum.  Seven families marked on the “too much” side of the continuum with five of those being the parents of Advanced Math children. I will share these results with Mrs. Wedig, our Advanced Math teacher, but a heavy homework load is part of the Advanced Math challenge. Not including the Advanced Math students, we are left with one family marking too little and two marking two much. After considering these results, I will keep the homework about the same.  Always remember, if your child has a problem completing homework on a particular night (including the Advanced Math Kids), it is always okay for you to write me a note explaining the circumstance and your child can complete it on the next day.

Please remember to send in 3 boxes of apple juice for our schoolwide Thanksgiving Feast TOMORROW by 9:00 am.  If you have any questions or concerns, please drop by or e-mail me at triciaheis@sjcschool.org.  I am incredibly thankful for all of your children and all of you.  Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and a restful four day weekend.

Sincerely, Tricia Heissenbuttel
