Our classrooms are equipped with the latest curriculum and technology for the high achievement of all of our students.


The academic program is strong and challenging. Our students score in the upper percentiles in standardized testing, do well on high school entrance exams, and are successful in their high school programs.  We are WCEA and

The academic program is strong and challenging. Our students score in the upper percentiles in standardized testing, do well on high school entrance exams, and are successful in their high school programs.  We are WCEA and WASC Accredited through June 2027.


There is a strong focus on technology: A fully equipped, newly upgraded, Computer Lab and three Mobile Computer Labs with MacBooks and MacBook Airs; 1:1 iPad program for all students; SMART interactive boards in 13 classrooms; LCD projectors and document cameras in every classroom; full-time computer teacher for Grades K-8, and a specialized aide who supports teachers in integrating technology into lessons; computer centers in the classrooms and library

We offer a wide variety of extracurricular activities; ranging from music, math, technology, geography, geometry, Student Council, chess, Chinese, and sports.

  • Many family oriented community-building activities (e.g., Cupertino Carnival, International Night, Spaghetti Dinner, Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Dining for Dollars Evenings, Skating Party, Family Barbecue, etc.)
  • Clubs and classes which include: Band, Advanced Spanish, Computer Club, Math Club, Music Ministry, School Choir, Chess Club, Drama, Yearbook Club, Cheerleading/Yell Leading Team, Art Club, Tech Challenge Team, Geography Club, Coding Club, and Geometry Club
  • Active after-school sports program for children (basketball, soccer, volleyball, flag football) and Sports Boosters Club for adults

The arts are alive and well at SJC.  Students participate in art and music classes as part of the curriculum.  There are also opportunities for drama, band, and art (both digital and analog) outside of the classroom.

SJC participates in athletics with other local Catholic schools in grades 4-8.  We play flag football, soccer, basketball, and volleyball. Student participate annually in a swim meet and track meet.  Students are also given a chance to learn about teamwork in the lower grades through our Little HoopStars basketball program.


Due to the pandemic, we are focusing on outdoor sports and plan to start with volleyball in November 2021 based on the guidelines from the state and county.

There are a variety of clubs during and after the school day for students to learn more about a particular skill or talent. Our Art club is very popular with the students. In addition we also have computer coding club, keyboarding/open lab, geometry club, Chess Club, Geography Club, School Choir, Music Ministry, Student Council, and Band.

Our Extended Care

We understand the busy life of Silicon Valley and offer both before and after school extended care for our students.  We open at 7:00 a.m. and we close at 6:00 p.m. on the days that school is in session.  At $8.25 per student per hour, we hope that this service helps our families who work at the numerous tech sites near our campus.

Most of our graduates continue on to the local Catholic High Schools.  Learn more about where the Class of 2021 has been accepted.


Our students were very successful in being accepted to our Catholic High Schools. All students in the Class of 2021 were accepted to their first choice school.  Twenty-nine students applied, and the Class of 2021 earned:


  • 21 spots at Archbishop Mitty High School (1 with Academic Distinction in Math and Language* and 3 with Academic Distinction in Math*)
  • 4 spots at Presentation High School
  • 18 spots at Saint Francis High School
  • 10 spots at Bellarmine College Preparatory
  • 4 spots at Notre Dame


*Please note that not all high schools indicate honors when they send their acceptance lists to SJC.
