The arts are alive and well at SJC. Students participate in art and music classes as part of the curriculum. There are also opportunities for drama, band, and art (both digital and analog) outside of the classroom.
SJC participates in athletics with other local Catholic schools in grades 4-8. We play flag football, soccer, basketball, and volleyball. Student participate annually in a swim meet and track meet. Students are also given a chance to learn about teamwork in the lower grades through our Little HoopStars basketball program.
Due to the pandemic, we are focusing on outdoor sports and plan to start with volleyball in November 2021 based on the guidelines from the state and county.
There are a variety of clubs during and after the school day for students to learn more about a particular skill or talent. Our Art club is very popular with the students. In addition we also have computer coding club, keyboarding/open lab, geometry club, Chess Club, Geography Club, School Choir, Music Ministry, Student Council, and Band.
The word catholic means to be all-embracing and looking at the diversity of our students it can be said that we do welcome all. Learn more about our diversity.
