An annual student exchange program began in 2016 with a group of eighth-grade students from St. Joseph of Cupertino School spending a week with host families in Copertino, Italy. In return, students from the Catholic school in Copertino visit Cupertino, CA. This student exchange program took a break during the pandemic. Mrs. Packard joined The Cupertino Copertino Sister City Board of Directors for their November 2022 meeting and they are moving forward with the student exchange program for the 2023-2024 school year.
